My artistic journey began long before I physically left Iran, rooted in a deep fascination with form, texture, and the emotional language of material. After migrating to Australia, I experienced a period of pause, a quiet reckoning with identity, belonging, and creative voice. It was through sculpture and textured painting that I found my way back to expression, this time shaped by both memory and reinvention. Years of experimentation and personal evolution led me to create large, scale, tactile works that bridge cultures and emotions. Collaborating with Koala has been a natural extension of this path, an opportunity to bring meaning-driven art into contemporary living spaces, and to share my story not just through words, but through the surfaces that hold them.
