The Mauritius Decorative is an embodiment of artistic mastery and thoughtful design, bringing both aesthetic charm and depth to any home. At its core, this piece captures the relaxed poise of a man, rendered in brilliant gold, sitting cross-legged.
Supporting this golden figure is a stand that beautifully emulates a burnt tree trunk. This choice of base is symbolic, suggesting rebirth and renewal. Just as a forest rejuvenates after a fire, the man's meditative pose atop the trunk could be seen as an emblem of personal growth and transformation.
Koala Living acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We acknowledge the Bunurong people, on whose lands our head office is located, as well as all other First Nation Countries on which we operate our business across. We would also like to pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
